In Ref. 3397; a doubtful record. No specimen in the MMF collection and never seen by P. Wirtz (known to him from the Mediterranean Sea) in more than 1000 dives along the coasts of Madeira. Further, NRM 19856 specimen from Madeira, was reidentified by us as D. vulgaris (Ref. 74541).
